A Secret Superpower
A smile is a SUPERPOWER that lives inside YOU.
A smile, your smile
Can even be just for you
When you feel a bit blue.
Or, when it seems like there is nothing else
You can do.You can smile anytime
In any way that suits you.
Tonight’s bedtime storybook, A Secret Superpower comes to your inbox courtesy of Amy Marley and Jesse Breytenbach.
Amy has fought for long against painful allergies affecting her kids. So she took up the fight and wrote Pete, the Peanut. An amazing way to talk to children and help them deal with allergens, allergies and anaphylaxis. It is now out on Amazon and if you click on Pete below, he will take you there.
Like Amy, Jesse too fights against disease with the superpower that God has given her. One a writer, the other? We will let you figure that out.
So you already know what today's storybook is all about.
Without more ado, we present to you -- A SECRET SUPERPOWER.
Ka-boom! Ka-ching!
🧜 Click on the storybook cover above to download it, and print on A4 paper.
There is a little magic involved after you print, as you can see below. If you have trouble, watch this video.
Beware of the question monster! Let us know what your little one thinks in the space on the back of the storybook? Share a pic with sanjukt@wallobooks.org.
Once it is time for your own bedtime story, may we suggest Chasing Daylight by Eugene O'Kelly, and When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi.
Sanjukt’s favorite quote from the book —
After all, you can’t unwind your most important relationships first, then bide your time with those loved ones while unwinding far less significant relationships

P.S. Jesse, this is a special treat for you so that you can share your own book with your friend's son this week.
I have a broken tooth in the middle, makes it a little difficult to smile ;)
Wow! Definitely the book brings Smile to your face.
